360 Access is now an IRATA International operator member.
Our technicians have always held IRATA certification. Now the company itself has been audited and appointed a member by IRATA International: membership no. 4109/O.
In short: on 7 October 2026, IRATA International appointed 360 Access Pty Ltd an operator member, membership number 4109/O. It follows a two-stage audit of how we run rope access work: planning, supervision, equipment, training records and rescue.
What IRATA is
IRATA International (the Industrial Rope Access Trade Association) is the international body for industrial rope access. It sets the training and assessment scheme for rope access technicians at Levels 1, 2 and 3, and publishes the International Code of Practice that member companies work to.
Technician tickets vs a member company
An IRATA card shows that an individual technician has been trained and assessed. Operator membership is a step further: IRATA audits the company. That covers whether work is planned and supervised properly, whether equipment is inspected and recorded, whether rescue is planned for every job, and whether the records back it all up.
How we got here
- Stage 1: IRATA reviewed our documented systems: procedures, registers, training and equipment records.
- Stage 2: an on-site audit at our Tullamarine base on 16 September 2026.
- Appointed: 7 October 2026, as an operator member in IRATA's probationary category, which applies to new operator members until their next full audit.
Membership comes with ongoing obligations: an annual declaration to IRATA, quarterly work and safety statistics returns, and a full IRATA audit due in late 2027.
What it means if you're engaging us
- Ticks the prequalification box. When a builder, facility manager or owners corporation asks for an IRATA member company, not just IRATA-ticketed workers, we now qualify.
- Work to the IRATA Code of Practice. Two-rope systems, Level 3 supervision on site, and a rescue plan for every job.
- Independently checked. IRATA membership sits alongside our ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certification, so both the rope access system and the wider management system are externally audited.
Our other credentials
IRATA membership sits with the rest of our compliance: ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certification through ATLAS (JAS-ANZ accredited), AGWA membership, a Queensland Builders Licence (QBCC), WorkCover in Victoria and Queensland, and $20M public liability cover.
