Rapid response

Emergency & difficult-access glass repair, Melbourne.

Broken or smashed glazing? We make it safe — remove the danger, secure and weatherproof the opening, then replace the glass. Commercial and high-rise, reached by rope access when a standard glazier can't.

Safe first, then sorted

Make-safe, secure, replace.

A failed or smashed pane is a safety risk — falling glass below, an open and exposed building above. Our first job is to make it safe: clear the dangerous glass, board up or fit a temporary make-safe to secure and weatherproof the opening, and protect the area below. Then we measure and replace the glazing properly.

Because we're rope-access glaziers, we reach broken panes on high-rise and difficult-access façades that a van-based glazier simply can't — no waiting on scaffold or a crane to get the building safe.

Hard-to-reach glass

Difficult-access glass repair.

Not every damaged pane is an emergency, and not every one can be reached from the ground or a ladder. High-rise curtain walls, atriums, and glass above awnings, roofs or light wells are where rope access earns its keep — our glaziers work on rope, so the repair doesn't wait on scaffold, a swing stage or a crane booking.

The same crew handles make-safe, full reglazing and in-place repair. If the glass is scratched or marked rather than broken, see glass scratch removal & defect rectification — restoring it in place usually costs a fraction of replacing it.

Common questions

Emergency glass FAQs

Can you make a broken window safe quickly?

Yes — our first priority is making the building safe: removing dangerous glass, boarding up or fitting a temporary make-safe to secure and weatherproof the opening, then arranging permanent replacement.

Do you handle broken glass at height?

Yes. As rope-access glaziers we reach broken panes on high-rise and difficult-access façades that a standard glazier can't, without waiting on scaffold or a crane.

What should I do if a window has shattered?

Keep people clear of falling glass and the area below, then call us. We'll advise over the phone and mobilise to make the site safe and secure as quickly as we can.

Broken glass right now?

Call us — we'll make it safe.
